Infrared thermometer: When measuring body temperature, align the thermometer with the center of the forehead (above the center of the eyebrow and keep it vertical). The measuring area should be unobstructed (such as hair, hat, etc.) and kept clean. It is best to wipe the forehead with a dry tissue before measuring to remove sweat stains, etc. The measurement distance is generally (1-3) cm or the distance required by the manual. The measurement needs to be repeated twice within 1 minute, and the difference between the two measurements should be within 0.3 ℃ before the data can be accepted.
Precautions for measurement personnel:
1. Take maintenance measures according to the different measurement environments. Try to keep the thermometer in a working environment between 16 ℃ and 35 ℃. Set the thermometer to "body temperature" mode according to the instructions before measurement.
In winter, the ambient temperature may not meet the requirements. It is recommended to take insulation measures, such as alternating the use of backup infrared thermometers in insulation boxes or placing them in the pocket when not measuring.
2. Infrared ear thermometers are not easily affected by the environment, have high measurement accuracy and good stability, and can be used for retesting of individuals with abnormal body temperature. However, they cannot measure ears with ear diseases or undergoing treatment.
3. Only touch the handle and do not touch the detection head.
4. Regularly use medical thermometers to calibrate infrared thermometers to ensure numerical accuracy.
